Mineral structure
1. Microscopic mineral structure
• Crystal morphology: Fine flaky, nanoscale plate-like structure, with small sheet diameter and complete sheet layers;
• Structural features: The sheet-like surface is coated with a graphite-based organic carbon film, featuring a large specific surface area and high surface activity.
• Associated minerals: A small amount of quartz, dolomite and montmorillonite, no harmful heavy metals;
• Physical properties: Mohs hardness 1 to 1.5, soft in texture with a moderate slippery feel, no water between layers, and strong chemical inertness.
2. Key physical and chemical indicators
1. Raw ore: grayish-black to black powder, high purity and few impurities;
2. Calcination characteristics: After calcination at 800-1000℃, organic matter decomposes, and the whiteness can reach 92% - 95%, which is far superior to ordinary talc.
3. Stability: Resistant to acids and alkalis, good insulation, strong heat resistance, and excellent weather resistance;
4. Processability: It is easy to be ultrafine ground and can achieve nano-scale ultrafine powder, with excellent modification effect.
